Chesterfield Waterside is an innovative joint venture partnership between Urbo Regeneration and Chesterfield Borough Council to deliver a new £340m urban village on a 16 ha (40 acre) former industrial site adjacent to the A61 in the River Rother corridor. The project also involves restoration of the local canal network to create a fully navigable route.
Outline planning permission was secured in 2016 with reserved matters planning permission secured for the Basin Square and Phase 1 of the Riverside East parcels.
As a former Director of Urbo Regeneration I supported on the delivery of the pre-development phases of the project to include the management of the outline planning application and funding bids.
