Andrew Bradshaw whilst part of the Barratt Partnerships team was the project lead of a successful land bid to Homes England to deliver the redevelopment of the former Louisburg Barracks in Bordon, Hampshire for a development of 500 new homes and associated infrastructure and public realm.
The site was originally built at the turn of the 20th century to Field Artillery Regiments. The barracks were later vacated as part of the Ministry of Defence plans to centralise facilities and was taken over by the Homes England.
Barratt David Wilson Homes worked in partnership with Homes England to secure Reserved Matters consent, which was granted in 2016 for a scheme of 500 dwellings (including 20% affordable homes), public open space, access and parking, ancillary works and the retention of the historic Amherst House for the provision of 4 apartments.
Construction remains ongoing on the site.
